About the Competition:
The ZURU MAX Case Competition is your chance to dive into the world of brand strategy, compete against fellow AUT students, and win a share of $2,000 in prizes! plus a networking lunch with a ZURU senior leader!
Over the course of August, you’ll work in teams to develop a bold, future-facing strategy to scale MAX Building Bricks into a $150 million global brand by 2030. Your ideas will be judged on creativity, feasibility, and how well you understand the market, brand, and consumer.
This comp isn’t about theory. It’s about real-world thinking, bold ideas, and strategic execution. You’ll be judged not just on your final deck, but also on how you approached the challenge and backed your insights.
How it Works:
After signing up, you’ll receive the official ZURU MAX Case Study Brief & Rubric.
You’ll work in teams of 3–4 students to develop a slide deck answering six key strategic questions.
Top 6 teams will be invited to present their ideas at the ZURU office in front of senior executives.
