Theo Hancock

President

Theo is a Bachelor of Business student double-majoring in Finance and Economics. As a teaching assistant and tutor, he is passionate about bridging the gap between theory and real-world investing.

He aims to grow AUTIC into a leading platform for students to develop investment knowledge, gain hands-on experience, and connect with industry professionals. He is committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging environment where students can build confidence in financial decision-making and investing.

Theo aspires to continue into further education, planning to begin his Master's of Business Majoring in Economics in 2026 and undertakeprofessional certifications to deepen his expertise in financial economics.

Pauline Sicat

Vice President

Pauline is a penultimate-year Bachelor of Business student majoring in Finance and Accounting. As a general executive in the Events and Sponsorships department, she is committed to enhancing financial literacy by simplifying financial concepts and organising initiatives that make finance more accessible to students. Through engaging events and industry collaborations, she strives to equip the next generation with the financial knowledge and confidence to navigate an increasingly complex financial landscape.

Passionate about fostering financial empowerment, Pauline aims to pursue a career in the finance industry where she can continue advancing these objectives on a broader scale. She also plans to undertake further studies to enhance her financial knowledge and skills to more effectively advance these goals.

Beyond finance, her interests extend to blockchain technology and fintech, and she enjoys camping and playing Cards Against Humanity.

Jack Wang

Executive Advisor

Jack Wang is a third-year student completing a double degree with majors in Finance and Computer Science. As the 2024 AUTIC President, he played a key role in expanding the club’s reach and impact. Now, as an advisor to the executive team and 2025 President, he continues to support AUTIC’s growth, ensuring members gain valuable insights and hands-on experience in investing.

Outside of finance, he enjoys combat sports, fitness, and weightlifting.

Yash Manjardekar

Club Treasurer

Yash Manjardekar is a Master of Business (Finance) student with a strong academic background spanning finance, law, and computer engineering. He holds a Master of Applied Finance, an LL.B. (General), and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, giving him a multidisciplinary perspective on financial markets, economic policy, and investment strategies.

As Treasurer of the AUT Investment Club, Yash is responsible for managing the club’s finances with transparency and efficiency, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to support events, workshops, and investment initiatives. He is passionate about financial markets and is dedicated to fostering a dynamic learning environment where students can expand their investment knowledge and develop practical skills.

Beyond finance, Yash has a keen interest in political science, law, and technology, which influences his perspective on economic trends and market behaviour. He is committed to continuous learning and professional growth, aspiring to further his expertise through research, certifications, and industry experience.

Quyen Pham

Executive Events Director

Quyen is a Master of Applied Finance student at AUT with a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Finance. As the Executive Events Director, she is passionate about creating meaningful and informative events. She aims to collaborate with the AUTIC 2025 team to bring engaging events to life, helping students develop financial knowledge and connect with industry professionals. She believes that promoting financial literacy and industry involvement is key to empowering future finance professionals.

Beyond finance, Quyen is dedicated to supporting the Vietnamese community. She has actively volunteered and organised events for the Vietnamese student community in New Zealand. She also enjoys swimming, traveling, and exploring the beauty of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Executive Marketing Director

Jay Adwani is a Master's student in Applied Finance at AUT, with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Juan Emilio Monge Mesa

Juan Monge is a third-year Bachelor of Business student at AUT, majoring in Finance with a minor in International Business & Marketing. Nicole Tweeddale

Secretary

Nicole Tweeddale is a penultimate student at Auckland University of Technology, pursuing a double major in Finance and Accounting. With a background as a legal administrative assistant, Nicole also brings entrepreneurial experience as the founder of 888 Rentals, a business she launched and successfully scaled into a nationwide service.

As Secretary of the Investment Club, Nicole is responsible for coordinating communications, organising meetings, managing minutes, handling club documentation, and overseeing general administrative duties.

Beyond the Investment Club, Nicole serves as an executive member of AUT Women in Business and is an active player on the university’s club tennis team. She is passionate about fostering entrepreneurship and accessible investment opportunities, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and community impact. Nicole aims not only to inspire but to create real pathways for others to thrive.

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys road trips, learning new languages, and listening to podcasts.
